John that is a very interesting read I enjoyed it very much thank's for posting the web site.
There is definately a lot of history in that house. The web site is well done also very detailed complete with photo's. It's also nice to have a piece of that history in the call cabinet.

In the 3rd picture on the top row from the left ater the tornado, you can see the cypress knee braces used in Jeff's calls. Cypress does not do well in my old style calls, turned out great in Jeff's cost style ones. My calls came from the main post section left over from the reconstruction of the walnut grandstaircase in the bottom left photo.
There are still a few of the old walnut trees left on the property that have not died through the years. It is also of note that Eustace mentions in History on the link, and the Delta Magazine article that the name Hollywood Plantation actually came from a number of Holly trees on the property. My next endevor is to get with Eustace and see if I can get some of that Holly for a few call.
