Well Richard, sometimes it's better when they leave. At least your wife isn't taking them from you and forbidding you to touch them. Mine finds one she likes and lays claim to it. When I pick it up and play it she comes around the corner and asks if I have permission to be playing HER call. So I guess it's true what they say, "Out of sight, out of mind"..........
To date, I've lost 2 trumpets and a couple of boxcalls....I guess I'm going to have to have them shipped to the office from now on.
No seriously, she just recognizes a good call when she hears one , and one that is easy to play.
