
I got on this bird a couple mornings this year. He liked to play with your mind or just be a turkey is more like it.
He would hit the ground and get silent on you, circle you and get right beside you then blow your hat off and you could not move.
I caught him in the right mood Fri morning about 12:00 and was able to get above him. He worked good but slow, putting on a show. He had me a nervous wreak for about 45 min. I had several shots but did not think I could kill him. Finally he dropped strut and working in to a good opening at 30 yards. The combination of the Morgan Box and Eldorado Slate was more then he could stand.
12" Beard 8" beard 1 and 1/16 spurs. Nice way to end the season.
