Here are a few hunts we have done this week. Aubie had two great days !!! He is a farmer that shares his bountiful turkeys with me. He row crops and raises cattle and sidelines as a school bus driver. He has not scored last weekend, and is on spring break this week so he has been hunting with me. Heck ,he is even using my gun
, so as to make sure he gets the shot !!!
The first picture is a bird we got the entire hunt on video...everything except the kill shot. He just wouldnt hold off for the bird to clear a bush for me on the camera. He told me 2 times he had the shot and he was taking it....
...he did.
The next bird of Aubies was a faster hunt as he was in the middle of the hens and the gobbler...
Steve is the other guy....we were close to ole Slaytons stomping grounds....he is really a friendly feller, even though the pic of him with the bird looks like a mug shot from the local police department
now...I have my gun back and its time to get Jeff back on the trigger hopefully !!!
