A special box call

Every year I build a call to raise money for our local JAKES youth day. It will be auctioned at local NWTF banquet. Proceeds go to buying fish and food for local kids. One day in the summer we host a free fishing day. All kids are welcome ..no charge...no NWTF membership required.  We stock a local fishing pond and turn em loose. They fish, eat hotdogs and burgers, go to short seminars on hunting, safety, ethics, ect.  It is a real good deal and I am proud to help sponsor it. This is a parquet style call with Tiger Maple body, walnut end blocks with mud cured sycamore spacers. Lid and base are ebony with matching tiger maple and sycamore striping.  Feather inlay and bit on the handle is elk antler.  Box is butternut and sassafras. It needs just a few more touches to be ready for auction but close enough for some pics. With that maple and ebony it barks loud and proud. Good break with a sharp and hard back side.

One of the prettiest box calls I've ever seen and I've seen hundreds in Nashville and the Midwest competition.

Not only is that for a great cause friend, but that is a STUNNING looking box and the presentation box sends her over the top man. If it anywhere near the one I got from ya----someones getting a very great caller .
