Sorry for delayed responses, we had some storms hit and I have had a few big projects work related keep me running. I started cutting a good bit of this up last last night and evidently have burned up the motor on my table saw. It's a big power matic and that is the only thing I can figure that happened. SO, here are the options:
I have several 8x5.75x2.25 blocks cut ready to rip that I can ship how they are which is in blocks.
OR: I can ship them when I get another motor ordered for my saw which will be a few weeks. Pm me and let me know what you would rather me do.
I have all of the bigger blocks sitting there ready to cut.
Alright, long story short about a year and a half ago dad (bulldogmikey) decided for some reason it would be a good idea to buy a whole lot of mineral stained poplar. It was from a local saw mill and the guy basically had a truck load of it. I was the poor soul who got to store this stuff in my basement until it dried. We're in between seasons and my wife has asked me to clean out the basement. I'm gonna try to get a lot of this stuff cut up tomorrow and get it out of my way. I will be cutting it in 2x2x8 and 2x2x13 blocks. Just trying to see if any of you guys have any interest in it. I can box it up and ship as much as you would like and I'll even take the shipping. I don't know what stuff like this goes for and money is not the issue. I'm not sure what he paid for it. Again, it's just about clearing the basement.
Some of it is very dark and some of it just has streaks in it. There is even some that has some worm holes. When I say a lot of it I mean a lot. There is probably enough there to build 200 to 300 box calls. If any of you have any interest let me know and I will get it out to you. You guys can basically name your price per piece or per box of however many you want. If you are owed any wood or dad had some promised out to you I will send you a box. I appreciate you guys looking.
